Welcome! We are thrilled to have you and your student as a part of our RCBC family. Your student is an important member of our community, and we are focused on their success.
When you work in higher education, there are two truly great times of the year -- the start of the new year and the days when we celebrate graduation. These are the days filled with hope and promise -- the moments in which all things seem possible and when we can celebrate all the work that got our students to the point in which they stand.
I also recognize, though, that the beginning of college can be filled with anxious feelings, both for students and for those who support them. As a parent myself, I know how challenging it can be to manage new stages in the lives of the children we have watched grow up before our eyes.
As your student begins this new adventure at RCBC, we look forward to partnering with you for their success; while we want to encourage their independence (and the law limits what we can share with you), we also know that you serve a crucial role as a part of your loved one’s support system.
You are the best coach that your student can have -- sharing guidance, support and direction as your student grows more independent. Through this family page, we hope to support this transition to college and provide you with the resources and information you need to help your students navigate what can be a challenging new environment.
